Fu...I think that a combination approach would work. Funny, lighthearted gets you the light at the end of the tunnel. Examples and solutions gives you hope that there is not a train attached to that light! <br /><br />I think that a realistic, but hopeful book is best because let's face it -- there are a lot of us out there in the blended family business and the reality of it is vastly different from Leave It To Beaver or even the Brady Bunch, who never dealt with psychotic ex spouses and rotation of visitation!<br /><br />Your approach is usually very common sense and straightforward, mixed with examples and humor anyway. Work with what works and you won't have to fight faking it.<br /><br />BTW I have always wanted to write a book myself -- good luck with this and if there is anything I can do to help (sounding board, suggestions or even creating one of my famous voodoo dolls!) let me know!
